  • The tests designed by Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC are standardized nation-wide exams that follow specific test objectives and a topic blueprint. The tests are intended to evaluate knowledge levels as the student progresses in the program and upon entering the profession. The comprehensive tests, (PN and GN Comprehensive Predictors) given at the completion of all program course work, measure knowledge and decision making abilities in a variety of content areas. Our Content Mastery Series tests are designed to assess student knowledge and decision making skills at the end of a particular course of study.
  • Criteria for the interpretation of ATI assessment scores are the sole responsibility of the institution. ATI encourages the use of multiple sources of information when making decisions about individuals.
  • Our tests reflect content that is common in MOST nursing programs nation-wide. Because of the differences in school and program philosophy, objectives, student body and curricula, it is not possible for these tests to cover all material offered in every program. The test items used by this company are a sample.
  • The tests provided by Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC provide data about the student's knowledge base in a particular area. This data is one piece of information regarding the student's overall knowledge and should be used in conjunction with all other methods of evaluation when making a judgment as to the student's abilities, competence, knowledge and safety.
  • The diagnostic reports are intended to assist schools of nursing in the analysis of their students' performance. The school scores should be compared to the state and national scores to identify strengths and areas of improvement. This data should also be compared to the program objectives and terminal outcomes.
  • Nurse educators wishing to participate in the development of our tests may do so by submitting items for the test bank. A monetary reimbursement will be given based on specified criteria and need.
  • Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC offers a free test preview to assist nurse educators in determining testing needs and content areas.
  • Our tests follow the most current NCLEX blueprints (PN and RN) assuring nurse educators that the content and format simulates the state board exams.
